a bloody christmas picture

Well- tonight was a fun one! Tim is out scouting a basketball team in Orient, Iowa. So after the girls woke up from their naps they were in GREAT spirits and I decided to take some pictures of them in front of the Christmas tree. Morgan took her turn first and did a fabulous job. I proceeded to take some pictures of Maddie in her rocking chair in front of the tree when I hear a crunch- the breaking of a christmas bulb in my younger daughter's hand. Morgan began to bleed all over- with a white sweater on!!!! The cut wasn't deep- praise the Lord- but nonetheless she was unwilling to let me clean her up and or even look at her hand for more than a nanosecond! We finally got the bleeding stopped and I was unable to finish the picture taking- agghhhh! The moment had definitely passed! I will post some pics of the girlies once I get them developed- I cannot wait to get a digital camera- SOMEDAY! Now while I am e-mailing Morgan has managed to get halfway stripped down for her bath! Miss independent! I better get them in the tub! Will write more another day!

This our family's first Blog entry! We received info on this website from our friends in Michigan. I will try to update it a few times a week! FUN!
Maddie is sleeping in today- it's almost ten in the morning! Morgan is up and in full swing- running everywhere! I am doing laundry and catching up on e-mails! Tim is working all day and he'll be home around 8:30 tonight! He will be bringing pictures home later so that I can add them to the BLOG!
